Where Your Trees Grow

Trees for Tribals^® — Shahbad, Rajasthan

Our trees are planted in the Shahbad block of Baran District in southeastern Rajasthan — one of India's most ecologically vulnerable regions. The land here belongs to Sahariya tribal communities, whose livelihoods depend on the forest for fuel, fodder, fruit, and medicine.

Through Grow-Trees.com's "Trees for Tribals®" programme, indigenous species like Tectona grandis (teak), Emblica officinalis (amla), Acacia catechu, Dalbergia sissoo (sheesham), and Psidium guajava (guava) are raised in community-run nurseries and planted by local tribal families — who are also paid wages for the work.
