Certification
Global Organic Textile Standard - certified organic, traced from farm to finished product.
About the Standard
The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the world's leading standard for textiles made from organic fibres. It certifies not only that the cotton is grown organically, but that strict environmental and social criteria are met at every stage of processing - spinning, weaving, dyeing, finishing and stitching - backed by independent, on-site certification and a documented chain of custody.
What GOTS Covers
A GOTS 'organic' grade product contains at least 95% certified organic fibre, verified back to the farm.
Restricted chemical inputs, wastewater treatment and lower-impact dyeing and finishing throughout processing.
Fair labour standards aligned with ILO conventions across every certified facility.
Every step is documented so organic content can be traced and proven from farm to finished product.
Why It Matters to Buyers
For retailers and brands, GOTS turns 'organic' from a marketing claim into a verifiable fact. It satisfies retailer compliance teams, supports premium organic positioning at shelf, and gives end customers independent assurance. Because the standard is audited annually by accredited bodies, your sourcing story stands up to scrutiny.
