India-made, OEKO-TEX & GOTS certified throws and blankets for Russian department stores, home-furnishing chains and wholesale importers and hospitality operators.
Trade Partner
Abhi Home has manufactured home textiles in India since 1965. We supply woven, quilted, printed and embroidered throws and blankets to Russia retailers, importers and hospitality groups under their own private-label programmes — from single-design repeat orders to 20-SKU seasonal ranges. Our facility is OEKO-TEX Standard 100, GOTS, GRS and BCI certified, and we hold Sedex, SA 8000 and BSCI social audits against the compliance frameworks typically required by Russian department stores, home-furnishing chains, wholesale importers and hospitality operators.

St Petersburg for European Russia distribution, Novorossiysk for southern Russia and Black Sea routing, Vladivostok for Far-East programmes, and Kaliningrad for Baltic-corridor consolidation.
30–42 days ocean transit plus customs. Total order-to-DC lead time is typically 90–115 days from confirmation, depending on fabric development and sampling approval.
EAC (Eurasian Conformity) declarations, fibre composition labels per Russian textile regulation, Sedex SMETA audit reports, and OEKO-TEX certificates of compliance issued per shipment.
Russia Trade Intelligence
Beyond the generic sourcing process, successful India-to-Russia throws programmes hinge on four country-specific realities: the India–Russia shipping corridor, the duty and trade-agreement landscape, Russia-specific textile and product compliance, and Russia retailer commit cycles. Each is covered below.
Trade Lane
Novorossiysk (Black Sea) and St Petersburg (Baltic) are Russia's principal container entry points. Sailings from Mundra and Nhava Sheva are typically routed via Istanbul and the Black Sea to Novorossiysk in 22–26 days, or via European hubs (Hamburg, Rotterdam) with Baltic feeder to St Petersburg in 30–34 days. Vladivostok in the Far East handles Asian-routed cargo via onward Trans-Siberian Railway movement. Current shipping capacity on Russia lanes has been significantly restructured since 2022; importers should confirm current sailing availability with their forwarder.
Duty & FTA
Throws and blankets classify under HS 6301.30 (cotton blankets and travelling rugs) and HS 6301.40 (synthetic blankets and travelling rugs). Russia is a member of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) customs union; India–EAEU FTA negotiations have been under discussion but no comprehensive agreement is yet in force. The EAEU Common Customs Tariff applies to Indian-origin home textiles — typically in the 10–15% range on HS Chapter 63 lines. Russian VAT (20%) applies on CIF plus duty. Importers should be current on sanctions and trade-restriction regimes affecting specific retailers and financial channels.
Compliance
EAEU Technical Regulations (TR CU) apply to textile products across the customs union. TR CU 017/2011 governs textile-product safety; TR CU 007/2011 covers children's products. Mandatory EAC (Eurasian Conformity) marking and customs-union certificates of conformity are required for textile product categories. Russian GOST standards cover specific testing requirements. Russian-language labelling is mandatory. OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and Sedex SMETA audits support compliance with Russian mid-market and premium retailer requirements.
Commit Cycle
Russian home-textile buyers commit AW ranges in January–February and SS ranges in August. Russia's principal home-textile trade show is HouseHold Expo Moscow (March and October). Heimtex Russia (October) focuses specifically on home textiles. Russian premium and lifestyle retailers historically attended Heimtextil Frankfurt (January) and Ambiente Frankfurt for European sourcing. Russian-based importers continue to engage with Indian suppliers at the Delhi Fair (October) and Home Expo Greater Noida (April).

Every construction below can be produced in cotton, GRS recycled polyester, wool blends, linen or bouclé yarns. Full product detail on the main Throws & Blankets page.
Russian Compliance
Russian importers require EAC (Eurasian Conformity) conformity declarations for home textiles sold into the Russian Federation. Our throws and blankets are independently certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100, GOTS, GRS and BCI. Factory-level audits include SA 8000, BSCI and Sedex SMETA. We work with nominated Russian import agents to produce EAC conformity documentation per consignment. Full certification detail on our Sustainability page.
