EU REACH Regulation 1907/2006 governs SVHC and AZO-dye restrictions. EU Textile Labelling Regulation 1007/2011 mandates fibre-composition labels in Italian. Italy's Legislative Decree 194/1999 governs fibre-composition disclosure and country-of-origin marking; Made in Italy claims are closely regulated and cannot be used for Indian-origin product. Upholstery and filled cushions for hospitality and contract channels must meet UNI EN 1021-1/2 (cigarette and match tests).
