Indian Home Textile Manufacturing
India-based home textile manufacturer since 1965. Private-label OEM for bedding, cushions, bath, kitchen linen, throws and pouffes — OEKO-TEX, GOTS and GRS certified.
Heritage & Scale
Abhi Home has manufactured home textiles in India since 1965. Across three generations, the business has grown from a single-loom operation into a vertically integrated private-label OEM — running fabric development, printing, dyeing, embroidery, making-up and QA under one roof. We supply home textile to international retailers, importers and hospitality groups across Europe, North America, Asia-Pacific and the Middle East.
The business operates entirely through private-label contract manufacturing. We do not sell under our own brand in retail. Every programme runs under the buyer's care label, tech pack, packaging spec and compliance framework — with full chain-of-custody documentation against OEKO-TEX, GOTS and GRS where required.
Full Category Coverage
Abhi Home manufactures home textiles across six categories — each under full OEKO-TEX, GOTS and GRS scope, each with dedicated development teams, each with its own compliance framework.

Why India
India holds three compounding advantages for home-textile manufacturing: the world's second-largest cotton fibre supply, the most extensive hand-craft heritage (block printing, kantha quilting, hand embroidery, crochet, hand-tufting), and the largest OEKO-TEX-certified production base of any sourcing country. No other origin combines all three at export scale.
Beyond the raw supply-chain advantages, India offers something structurally unique: a simultaneous mastery of hand-craft technique and industrial-scale compliance. A certified Indian manufacturer can produce 500 pieces of hand-block-printed cotton on Monday and 5,000 pieces of power-loom jacquard on Tuesday — under the same OEKO-TEX scope, the same SMETA audit, and the same vendor-portal compliance framework. No other sourcing region offers this combination.
The Abhi Home Edge
Founded 1965, now in its third generation. The same family has run the business across six decades — which means traceable supplier relationships, institutional quality knowledge, and buyer relationships that survive generational transitions.
Fabric sourcing, dyeing, printing, embroidery, making-up and QA all run under one roof. No sub-contracted workshops, no traceability gaps — every compliance audit covers the full production chain.
OEKO-TEX, GOTS, GRS, BCI, Sedex SMETA, SA 8000 and BSCI — every certification international retailers typically require, held at facility scope and maintained with annual audit cycles.
In addition to the Indian manufacturing entity, Abhi Home operates a US-based trading entity for buyers who prefer domestic contracting and invoicing, with product shipped direct from India under FOB, CIF or DDP terms.
Hand-block printing, embroidery and kantha quilting alongside power-loom weaving and industrial quilting — all under one compliance scope. Few Indian manufacturers offer both craft and scale in-house.
We do not compete with our buyers at retail. 100% of production is private-label OEM under the buyer's brand label, tech pack and packaging spec. Your designs stay your designs.
Export Markets
Our shipments reach international retailers across 4 continents. We maintain dedicated buyer programmes in our priority markets, each with port-specific logistics, compliance frameworks and cultural-fit design archives.
Frequently Asked
India has hundreds of export-grade home-textile manufacturers running vertically integrated facilities with OEKO-TEX, GOTS, GRS, BCI and Sedex certifications. These mills supply international retailers under private-label OEM programmes across bedding, cushions, bath textiles, kitchen linen, throws and pouffes. Abhi Home has manufactured in India since 1965.
The standard export categories are bedding (duvet covers, sheet sets, quilts), bath textiles (towels, bath mats, robes), kitchen linen (tea towels, aprons, table linen), cushions and cushion covers, throws and blankets, and pouffes and floor seating. Abhi Home manufactures across all six categories in-house.
OEKO-TEX Standard 100 for product safety, GOTS for organic cotton chain-of-custody, GRS for recycled content traceability, BCI for sustainably grown conventional cotton, and Sedex SMETA / SA 8000 for social compliance. International retailers typically require the mill to hold a subset of these depending on programme.
MOQs vary by category. Cushion covers start at 300 pieces per design, bedding at 300–500 per size, bath towels at 500 per size per colour, kitchen linen at 300–500, throws at 200–300, and pouffes at 150–300 depending on construction.
Counter-samples 10–14 days, pre-production samples 21 days, bulk production 45–90 days depending on category, plus 21–35 days ocean transit. Total order-to-DC typically runs 95–140 days for first-run programmes.
Yes. Major Indian home-textile manufacturers supply US department stores, home-specialty chains and D2C brands under CPSIA, California Prop 65 and FTC fibre-labelling compliance. Abhi Home additionally operates a US-based trading entity for buyers who prefer domestic contracting with direct-from-India shipment.
