Heritage & Scale
Abhi Home has manufactured home textiles in India since 1965. Across three generations, the business has grown from a single-loom operation into a vertically integrated private-label OEM — running fabric development, printing, dyeing, embroidery, making-up and QA under one roof. We supply throws & blankets to international retailers, importers and hospitality groups across Europe, North America, Asia-Pacific and the Middle East.
The business operates entirely through private-label contract manufacturing. We do not sell under our own brand in retail. Every programme runs under the buyer's care label, tech pack, packaging spec and compliance framework — with full chain-of-custody documentation against OEKO-TEX, GOTS and GRS where required.

Commercial Terms
300 pieces per design per colour for woven cotton throws; 200 pieces for hand-knitted and crochet. Mixed-design container programmes are supported for established buyers.
60–75 days post sample approval for bulk. Ocean transit adds 21–35 days to most buyer markets; air-freight is available for urgent programmes at a cost premium.
Counter-samples in 10–14 days; pre-production samples in 21 days. Pre-production samples are sent to the buyer's DC or nominated test lab before bulk release.
FOB Mundra or Nhava Sheva as standard. CIF, CFR, DDP and DDP-DC available on request. US buyers can additionally contract through our US trading entity for domestic-invoicing programmes.

Indian handloom and power-loom infrastructure, combined with established hand-knit and crochet supply chains, make India a natural sourcing origin for throws. The country produces across every construction — from GSM-heavy winter blankets to lightweight recycled-cotton summer throws — with both craft and scale.
Beyond the raw supply-chain advantages, India offers something structurally unique: a simultaneous mastery of hand-craft technique and industrial-scale compliance. A certified Indian manufacturer can produce 500 pieces of hand-block-printed cotton on Monday and 5,000 pieces of power-loom jacquard on Tuesday — under the same OEKO-TEX scope, the same SMETA audit, and the same vendor-portal compliance framework. No other sourcing region offers this combination.

In addition to the Indian manufacturing entity, Abhi Home operates a US-based trading entity for buyers who prefer domestic contracting and invoicing, with product shipped direct from India under FOB, CIF or DDP terms.

We do not compete with our buyers at retail. 100% of production is private-label OEM under the buyer's brand label, tech pack and packaging spec. Your designs stay your designs.

Frequently Asked
Lightweight summer throws run 180–220 GSM, mid-weight throws 250–350 GSM, and heavyweight winter blankets 400 GSM and above. Abhi Home produces across the full GSM range in cotton, recycled cotton and blended constructions.
Yes. GRS recycled cotton and GRS recycled polyester throws are a major category for Indian manufacturers with certified scope. Abhi Home is GRS certified and produces recycled throws traceable from fibre to finished product.
Standard MOQ is 300 pieces per design per colour for woven cotton throws and 200 pieces for hand-knitted or crochet constructions. Jacquard-woven programmes may carry higher MOQs depending on loom setup.
India does not produce cashmere or wool at scale. Abhi Home and other Indian mills import wool and wool-blend yarns from Europe and New Zealand and weave them into throws locally. Pure cashmere is typically not economical at export MOQs.
Sampling is 10–14 days for counter-samples, 21 days for pre-production samples. Bulk production is 60–75 days. Total order-to-DC is typically 110–130 days for first-run programmes.
